I’ll probably be around for an hour. I’m going nuts over my starting wr’s this week. Start 3 out of Steve Smith (the one who’s currently the #1 wr overall), Dallas Clark, Nate Burleson, Benard Berrian, and Roddy White. I currently have White, Clark and Berrian starting. My opponent is starting Torry Holt as his WR3 so i figured this was a great week to roll the dice with Berrian. History tells me to bench SS12 against Nnamdi. I feel like all 5 of these guys fall between like 8-25 and this is a giant crap shoot.

Oh and I’m contemplating boycotting my favorite bar tonight. I was there last night and they decided to play the penguins FUCKING POST GAME SHOW and a high school football game on ALL SIX giant TV’s over the Dodgers/Cards game and the College game.
Life has to suck as a college football fan in the northeast. I know each fanbase cares, but the general public is so blah towards it. if a bartender tried that shit down here, they’d hang him in the front window from the bud light sign cord. (i guess pittsburgh isn’t quite “the northeast,” but moreso than most of America.)
Yeah, If it was Pitt it would have definitely been on or they would have gotten lots of shit. In most cases any Big East game would have been on. Oh yeah and then Wednesday I was out watching the Phils/Rockies game with a bunch of Phillies fans and some asshole guy walks up to the bar and starts bitching because the Phils fans were cheering. I just don’t think these bandwagon Penguins fans can talk shit, especially to people who like to enjoy a game. Penguins fans are some of the worst in the U.S. right up there with Duke…

But hearing people in this town carping over a politician they feel is unproven, undeserving, and maybe even incompetent being inexplicably rewarded with unmerited worldwide accolades — and smugly reminding them that only seven days ago they were all but begging to give Richie Daley the Olympics — well that’s a kickass feeling right there.
