I cannot believe some dumbass in Minny gave him a coaching job. I experienced his coaching when he was in Philly. It’s probably an understatement, but he’s a horrible coach. I also love that Simmons calls him “The Gym teacher” dead ringer for what he looks like.

mostly though, i’m surprised to hear it from you. i’ve read your stuff, and you’re a good, sound writer who is well informed as a sports fan as well. i’m not above getting excited about the start of college football (or football in general, for that matter). but i’m not really going to go bragging about KU demolishing Southeastern Louisiana. Yeah i guess mine doesn’t compare, but they put us on the plane and say we’re taking off right away. An hour and a half later we’re still sitting on the runway…then my mom gets pissed because she sat in the car for 3 hours. Same thing i always say when my mom or dad bitches about my flights getting back late, “well, what the hell can I do about it?.”
